The adverse effects on our health due to the accumulation of heavy metals – chrome, nickel, cadmium, copper, mercury, lead – have now been established. The number of people who experience allergic reactions, such as the reaction to nickel, increases year by year.
We inhale and absorb heavy metals everyday by direct contact with common use objects containing them ––kitchen utensils, batteries, paints, cosmetics – or by ingesting food contaminated not only by pollutants in the environment in which they are grown or bred, but also by by inadequate cooking tools.
